I had to take a bit of a break from comics to finish book 13 of wheel of time. I would be finishing book 14 now, but I had to put it on hold at the library. So I finally read my book 3 comics, Pop Gun War and the first volume of Scott Pilgrim. I think Pop Gun War has a lot going on, but I'm going to have to think about it more to get all of it. Really interesting though, liked the perspective and style. Scott Pilgrim was super fun! I still haven't gotten around to seeing the movie so this was my first introduction to Scott Pilgrim and it seems like it would be a very fun comic to read. I may hold off on the movie until I get a chance to do that.
"Powers: The Death of Retro Girl" was my comic this week. The art style was noir lighting mixed with the usual super hero look, and pretty angular.
